Welcome to KNM Detailing! We strive to provide the highest quality mobile car valeting and detailing services. To ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for everyone, please take a moment to read through our Terms & Conditions. By booking a service with KNM Detailing, you agree to these terms.
Booking and Deposits

Securing Your Appointment: A deposit is required to secure your chosen date and time slot.

Deposit Amount: The exact deposit amount depends on the specific valet or detailing package selected and will be clearly confirmed with you during the booking process.

Payment Method: Deposits must be paid via bank transfer prior to the appointment date to confirm your booking.

Non-Refundable: Please note that deposits are non-refundable, subject to the rescheduling conditions outlined below.

Quotes & Vehicle Condition: To provide the most accurate quote possible, we may request specific photos of your vehicle beforehand. Please be aware that guideline prices provided online or over the phone are estimates and may be adjusted based on the vehicle's actual size, condition upon arrival, and specific requirements. Any potential changes to the quoted price will be discussed with you before additional work commences.
Payment

Final Payment: The remaining balance for your chosen service is due strictly in cash immediately upon completion of the work. Please ensure you have the correct amount available.
Extra Charges

Vehicle Condition: While we handle typical levels of dirt and grime, we reserve the right to apply extra charges for vehicles requiring significantly more time and effort due to factors such as excessive mess, mould, excessive pet hair, vomit, or other bodily fluids.

Discussion: Any potential extra charges will always be discussed and agreed upon with you before we undertake the additional work.
Travel

Service Area: Our main service areas include Renfrew, Erskine, Inchinnan, Bishopton, Dargavel Village, and Paisley.

Extended Travel: We are happy to travel to surrounding parts of the greater Glasgow area. However, additional travel charges may apply for locations significantly outside our main service zones. These charges will be calculated based on distance/time and agreed upon during the booking process.
Rescheduling and Cancellations

Rescheduling (48+ Hours Notice): If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 48 hours' notice. We allow a one-time reschedule using your original deposit under these circumstances.

Rescheduling (Less than 48 Hours / Multiple): If you need to reschedule giving less than 48 hours' notice, or if you require more than one reschedule for the same booking, your original deposit will unfortunately be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required for a future booking.

No-Shows/Late Arrival: Our technicians operate on a schedule. If you are not present at the agreed location and we cannot contact you within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time, we will unfortunately have to leave to attend our next appointment. In this instance, your deposit will be forfeited.
Preparing for Your Service

Personal Belongings: Please remove all personal items, valuables, and general rubbish from your vehicle before we arrive. This includes checking door pockets, glove boxes, centre consoles (especially for loose change/money), and under seats. We cannot be held responsible for any personal items left inside the vehicle.

Boot Access: For packages including boot cleaning/steaming, please ensure the boot is completely empty to allow us full access.
Access and Safety

Working Space: Please ensure a safe and adequate amount of space is available around your vehicle for our technician to work effectively. This typically means enough room to fully open all car doors.

Location Restrictions: For the safety of our staff and your vehicle, we cannot perform detailing work on busy main roads, in tight public car parks where access or safety is compromised, or in any other location deemed unsafe or unsuitable by our technician.

Self-Sufficient Service: We operate from a fully equipped mobile detailing van and do not typically require access to your water or electricity supply.
Weather Policy

Adverse Weather: The safety of our staff and the quality of the final finish are our top priorities. In the event of adverse weather conditions (such as heavy rain, high winds, or freezing temperatures), it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.

Deposit: If we need to reschedule due to weather, your deposit is completely safe and will be transferred to your rearranged appointment. We will contact you as soon as possible if weather conditions are likely to impact your booking.
